UNPLATZ! Milan Mijalkovic and Lucie Strecker, together with students from TU Vienna and the University of Applied Arts, are invitingUNPLATZ! is a project that activates public space through architectural installations and performative interventions. It focuses on the United Nations Plaza in Vienna Donaustadt, a place that gains a global dimension due to the UNO-City. The planned comprehensive renovation of the UNO buildings presents a challenge for project participants, employees, as well as federal, city, and local residents, but also offers the opportunity for a reevaluation of the urban situation.
